I think one of the best things we can leave behind are photographs that remind people what life actually felt like.
As a wedding photographer, I’m not just interested in making beautiful images. I want to capture the parts of you that make you, you. Your personalities, your weird little quirks, the people you love, and all the moments that happen in between the big ones.
Because years from now, when you look back at your wedding photos, I want you to remember more than what you wore or how everything looked. I want you to remember how it felt to be there. The way you laughed with your friends, the way you looked at each other, the barefoot dancing, the happy chaos, and all the little moments you probably didn’t even realize were happening.
And someday, those photos might mean just as much to the people who come after you. They get to see who you were, who you loved, and what your life looked like in that season.
That’s the part of photography that means the most to me, creating something you’ll want to hold onto long after the wedding day is over.
PHILOSOPHY
I never really expected photography to become my job, but somehow here I am, getting to document sweet couples, big moments, and all the little stuff in between. I still cry at basically every wedding I’m part of, and honestly, I don’t think that’s ever going to change. Getting to be there for it all is something I never take for granted.
I want your experience with me to feel easy, fun, and like you can actually be yourselves. I’m not here to make you spend your whole day awkwardly posing for photos. I’d much rather capture the way you naturally interact, the little things you probably don’t even notice, and all the moments that make your day feel like yours.
The hand squeeze, the ugly laugh, the happy tears, the hug from someone you haven’t seen in forever, the dance floor chaos. Those are the things I’m looking for.
So, welcome. I’m really glad you’re here, and I hope I get to be a small part of your day.
